Durmitor Ring

It is believed that the name of the mountain Durmitor comes from the Celtic words “dru mi tore” which means „mountain full of water”. And this mountain really is that.  Durmitor has as many as 18 glacial lakes, popularly known as Mountain eyes, and each individually has its own legend about its origin.

The road around the ring is 84 km long and includes the most beautiful parts of the Durmitor National Park in Montenegro. This tour offers a unique opportunity to explore spectacular natural landscapes, mountain peaks, lakes and canyons, untouched nature, authentic villages and pastures.
